Oven bakes mushrooms filled with cottage cheese and herbs

Categories:  Montignac Diet Recipes / South Beach Recipes / Vegetarien Recipes / Side dishes /

A very tasty and versatile recipe: it can be an appetizer, it can be a side dish next to a steak and it can even be a lighter main course.

The baked mushrooms are very tasty and the combination with sweet cheese pearls is very refreshing and it becomes perfumed by the mix of fresh herbs.

Ingredients:
- fresh champignon mushrooms (as many as you wish)
- cottage cheese
- fresh dill (you can add also parsley)
- salt, pepper
- one red hot pepper
- salad leaves (and dressing): for decorating, but also as side-dish

Wash and clean the mushrooms. You will only use the top part of the mushroom. Place the mushrooms on a tray and spread salt and pepper over them, then put the tray in the oven (heated at 180-200 degrees Celsius - depending on how fast you want them done).

Bake them for about 15 minutes (until they are completely filled with juice).

Take them out of the tray while they're still warm, sloop the juice and fill them with the mix of cheese pearls, minced dill, pepper and salt. At the end, decorate with red hot peppers (the hot taste goes very well with this combination).

They are ideal for a party. For sure they'll be the first ones to be over!

Enjoy!
