Lebanese food is very aromatic and delicious. Today we’ll make a culinary journey into this mysterious world, dominated by spices, perfume and exciting taste, attractive and refined. We’ll begin to discover the magic of oriental food. So today we’ll make a baked marinated chicken. It will be so fragrant and tender that you will definitely repeat the experience!
Ingredients:
-chicken drumsticks
-olive oil
-a half teaspoon of cinnamon powder
-a teaspoon of cumin
-a teaspoon of lebanese mix (dried thyme, sesame seeds, sumac)
- a pinch of saffron
-a few cloves of garlic
-a lemon
-salt
Prepare a marinade with 2 tablespoons olive oil, lemon juice and other spices.
Slash chicken drumsticks and place them into marinade. Leave them in the refrigerator for several hours (cover the bowl with a food film)
Pour marinade into a pan, and add a cup of water. Add chicken drumsticks. Place tray in oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes. Cover with aluminium foil.
Then remove the foil, sprinkle the chicken with more sauce and place the tray back in the oven (without foil). After about 15 minutes chicken is ready and well-browned.
Serve immediately.
Sprinkle parsley over steaks when serving.
Enjoy!
