Fried sardines with yogurt sauce and avocado

Categories:  Fish Recipes / Avocado recipes / The Sauces /

A simple summer recipe, easy and good for a casual weekend lunch! Fried sardine fillets are easy to cook and yogurt and avocado mix is nice and soft.
Ingredients:
-several sardines fillets
-an egg
-2 to 3 tablespoons flour
-oil
-yogurt
-an avocado
-lemon
-a small cucumber
-garlic
-salt, pepper

Whisk egg and mix with flour, so you get a thicker composition.

Pass sardines through the egg and flour composition and then fry them in some olive oil over medium heat. Add a clove of garlic in the frying oil for flavoring.

When brown, turn them on the other side. After 2-3 minutes, remove the fish fillets on absorbent towel.

Make the sauce by mixing 125 grams of yogurt, 2 tablespoons olive oil, the pulp of an avocado, juice of half a lemon, a little cucumber, 1-2 cloves of garlic. Mix until you obtain a homogeneous sauce. Add salt and pepper.

Serve immediately.
You can make the sauce in advance and leave it in the refrigerator 1-2 hours before serving.

The refreshing and creamy sauce with exotic aromas of citrus and avocados, will give refinement to this traditional recipe.

Enjoy!
