When you wish for a traditional Romanian recipe, try the chicken with cream and mushrooms. It is a simple and rustic dish, but savory and very filling.
Ingredients:
-some chicken legs
-salt, pepper and other favorite spices (optional)
-1 white onion
-200 ml liquid cream
-2-3 tablespoons of flour or starch
-400 gr of fresh mushrooms
Wash the drumsticks, dry and put them in very little oil quality.

While they simmer, sprinkle salt and pepper over them (I've also put oregano).
After they are stewed on both sides, add chopped onion and continue simmering for a few minutes on medium heat until the onion is glassy.

Then add a cup of hot water and let it boil well.

When the drumsticks are almost done, add the mushrooms (which you have washed and cleaned in advance). Let it boil for another 10-15 minutes.
Finally, mix sour cream with flour and pour it in the pan.

Boil, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.

Serve with polenta.
