The chicken liver is very delicious alongside a spicy tomatoes sauce. It's an easy recipe and the result is very tasty.
The chicken liver in spicy sauce is served usually with a side dish of potatos on the pan or mashed-potatoes but it also goes well with steam-boiled vegetables, like broccoli.
Ingredients:
- 500 gr chicken liver
- one can of mashed tomatoes
- one spoon of hot pepper paste
- salt, pepper, sweet paprika
- olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic
- one laurel leaf and 1-2 little savory branches
Grind the garlic and temper it in 2 spoons of olive oil, together with the paprika paste.
Mix the garlic with the paprika on hot fire for about one minute.
Add the chicken liver and you've washed it thoroughly.
Spice with salt, pepper, sweet paprika and let it temper in the oil from the pan and its own sauce.
Turn the chicken liver on all sides so that you make sure it's well done. It's ready when it has a slightly parched color.
Add the mashed tomatoes, the laurel leave and the savory. Let it boil for another 2-3 minutes.
When it's ready, serve it hot, alongside the salad and the chosen side-dish.
It's excellent for a light and fast dinner.
Enjoy!
