  Almond milk (quick recipe)

One of the simplest and most delicious recipes from "raw food" (eating raw or "living food") is almond milk. The process is simple and fast (especially if you already have grinded almonds). It can be made also from walnuts, hazelnuts, Brazil nuts, cashews, macadamia, flaxseed, sunflower, sesame, etc.

Here's a combination of very fine and pleasant flavor: almond milk with white sesame seeds, orange blossom honey and cinnamon. Served with ice, is a refreshing and healthy treat that will entertain you in the hot days of summer.

This milk is served immediately or kept in a refrigerator (in sealed containers) for 1-2 days. It is ideal for vegetarians, those who are on Lent or want to eat clean and healthy.
This milk is made also from whole almonds, but then it is better to moisturize them (leave them in water for 8-10 hours), then peel and mix them.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup and half grinded almonds
- 2 tbsp white sesame
- 2 tbsp of honey (I used the orange blossom one, for exotic fragrance)
- 3 cups of plain water


Place all the ingredients in a blender. It's already starting to turn to a milky color.


Mix them at high speed, for about 2 minutes.


Strain through a fine sieve or gauze (if you have a powerful blender, the middle of the almonds will be already grinded).


After filtration, it will look like this: identical with milk, the color and consistency is similar and it smells like honey. I found the taste very good and fine, but I leave it to your appreciation.


A natural revelation!


Serve cold with ice cubes. If you sprinkle it with cinnamon, then you have a real vegetarian frappe.


It is perfect for breakfast or snacks, with muesli, in combination with fruit or berries near a trine with nuts, vegetarian, of course.
